Removal and installation of a tip of steering draft

Steering mechanism, covers and steering drafts

1 — steering draft right
2 — vrulevaya draft left
3 — a nut of M12, 65 N • m

7 — a tip of steering draft
8 — a ring tightening

9 — a nut of tightening, 80 N • m
10 — a collar, Ø50 – 53 mm

It is inserted into narrowing of steering draft near a six-sided nut. Before installation of steering draft grease it with jellied lubricant at narrowing that at turn of draft to exclude joint rotation of a cover.

 REMOVAL

1 Mark paint the provision of a forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish the balanced wheel in the former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car and remove a wheel.

2 Measure the size - And - between the hinge and the end of a carving of steering draft
- 5-also write down the received value.

3 Weaken a tightening nut-1 tips of steering draft-2-, address the Section the Angles of installation of forward wheels. Check of installation of wheels.

4 Turn off a fastening nut-3 hinges of steering draft-4-. 2 – tip of steering draft.

5 Remove a tip of steering draft by means of the HAZET779 tool – 1.

6 Turn off a tip from steering draft, keeping at the same time draft a wrench for a hexagon-5-from a provorachivaniye.

At an otvorachivaniye count speed and write down the received value. It will facilitate further adjustment of forward wheels.


 INSTALLATION

7 Establish a tightening ring on steering draft if it was removed.
8 Screw a tip of steering draft, speed has to be equal to speed at removal. Check the size - And - received before removal.
9 If it is necessary, clear of lubricant a pin of the hinge of steering draft, and also an opening in a rotary fist.
10 Insert a tip of steering draft, and also an opening into a rotary fist. Screw the new self-stopped nut on a pin of the hinge and tighten its moment 65 N • m.
11 Tighten a tightening nut of a tip of steering draft the moment of 80 N • m. At the same time keep draft from a provorachivaniye for a hexagon.
12 Establish into place a wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing lubricant a wheel disk seat on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of a wheel. Replace rusty bolts with new. Fix a wheel by bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
13 Check a track for HUNDRED, if necessary adjust.
