Monitors - the main data Monitors as, for example, the speedometer or the index of a reserve of fuel, are concentrated on the control panel. If any device failed, it is necessary to replace all block as he does not understand.
The block of the dashboard is run by the microprocessor and has system of self-diagnostics. If in elements of system malfunctions appear, in memory of malfunctions of the monitor the corresponding codes register. These codes can be removed by means of the special BMW device. Besides, by means of the device the following functions can be adapted or corrected, for example: the index of a reserve of fuel in a tank, the index of consumption of fuel, the index of intervals of service, the counter of the passable distance.
