General information and security measures

All components of systems of ignition - as parts of an electronic digital control system of the DME/BOSCH-MOTRONIC engine (petrol engines), preheat (diesel engines), start and a charge are a part of electric equipment of the engine. In a look of the fact that on the functional purpose these components belong to directly ensuring functioning of the engine they are considered separately from components of onboard electric equipment, such as lighting fixtures, monitors, etc.

During the work with electric equipment it is necessary to observe certain security measures:

a) Be careful - electric devices especially easily fail at maloperation with them during check, connection and service.
b) Do not leave ignition for a long time included at the switched-off engine.
c) Do not concern and do not disconnect ignition wires at the working engine or at the included starter (petrol engines).
d) People with a warm stimulator should not work with electronic system of ignition (petrol engines).
e) Never disconnect a wire from the battery at the working engine.
f) At connection of wires from the auxiliary power supply at emergency start of the engine observe polarity.
g) Always disconnect a negative wire from the battery the first and connect the last in order to avoid short circuit at a casual contact with the tool in time отдавания / tightenings of a clip of the plug.
