Removal and installation of nozzles

The damaged nozzles can lead to strong blows during the operation of the engine, the damaged bearings reminding operation of the engine with. In the presence of the similar phenomena it is necessary to start the engine on single turns and in turn to weaken cap nuts of pipelines of high pressure. If at an otvorachivaniye of any nut blows disappear, it indicates existence of defect of the corresponding nozzle. The nozzle by means of the manometer is checked (work HUNDRED).

The damaged nozzles have to be replaced as their adjustment or repair are not possible.


First signs of malfunction of a nozzle following:

- Falling of engine capacity;
- Excessively black exhaust gases;
- Dense blue smoke at cold start;
- High fuel consumption;
- Engine overheat;
- Knocks in one or several tsi-lindra;
- Incomplete combustion.

 REMOVAL

1 Remove the inlet pipeline, address the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
2 Clear fuel-supply lines of high pressure a cold cleaner.

3 Remove fuel-supply lines of high pressure. For this purpose turn off a cap key, for example, of HAZET 4550 cap nuts at nozzles and TNVD.

Do not deform fuel-supply lines. Remove fuel-supply lines in a set.

4 Close openings protective caps or a film with elastic bands that dirt did not get to them.
5 Disconnect the cable going to a nozzle of the fourth cylinder.

6 Disconnect drainage hoses between nozzles by means of pincers.

Drainage hoses have to be surely replaced.

7 Disconnect collars of fastening of nozzles-2-and take out nozzles.

If the nozzle is not taken out, it is possible to use a shock stripper. For its application it is necessary to manufacture the special tool which screws on on a nozzle.

The specified tool can be manufactured as follows. Cut off an old nozzle at distance about 5 cm behind a cap nut. Solder solid solder M6 nut to the cut-off end of the pipeline.

Carefully clear the manufactured tool. The dirt which got to a nozzle can put it out of action!

8 Screw the tool on a nozzle and attach a shock stripper to the soldered nut. Pull out a nozzle.
9 Remove heat-shielding laying.


 INSTALLATION

10 Surely establish new heat-shielding laying between a head of cylinders and a nozzle.
11 Insert a nozzle.

The nozzle with the sensor of movement of a needle is always inserted into the fourth, that is into the back cylinder. It is possible to recognize it by the attached cable.

12 Join a cable of the fourth nozzle.
13 Establish tightening collars on nozzles. Tighten nuts of fastening of collars the moment of 10 N • m.
14 Put on new drainage hoses between nozzles.
15 Fix fuel-supply lines of high pressure to nozzles and TNVD by the moment of 25 N • m.
16 Install the inlet pipeline, address the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
