Replacement of safety locks

For protection of wires and consumers of electric devices against short circuit and an overload electric chains are protected by safety locks.

Safety locks settle down in the separate block of safety locks which is over a ware box.

1 Before replacement of a safety lock it is necessary to switch off previously surely the corresponding consumer.

2 Open a ware box and turn both white clips (arrows on an illustration) outside. Thus the block of safety locks is released and comes off down. The scheme of an arrangement of safety locks is under a payment of safety locks.

3 A sign of the failed safety lock is the melted metal strip.

4 Take out the failed safety lock. For simplification of capture of a safety lock in the block there is a plastic clip. Put a clip on a safety lock, squeeze and take out a safety lock.

5 Insert a new safety lock on the same maximum current. Its value is specified on the plastic case of a safety lock. Besides, the case has color marking by which it is also possible to determine the size of rated current. And - the melted wire (address Specifications).


6 Take away the block of safety locks up and fix for what turn white clips outside.

If the new safety lock through short time burns down again, it is necessary to check the corresponding chain of current.

It is always recommended to carry with itself spare safety locks. It is impossible to replace a safety lock with a wire or something at all similar as it can lead to heavy damages of electric devices.
