Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

Model 320d
As at the diesel engine vacuum at absorption of air is absent, vacuum for the amplifier of a brake is created by the vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is fixed ahead at a head of cylinders and connected with the camshaft of final valves shlitsevy connection.

 REMOVAL

1 Remove a radiator of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases.
2 Remove a vacuum hose from a branch pipe of the vacuum pump for what weaken a collar.

3 Turn out bolts-2-and-3-and remove the vacuum pump.


 INSTALLATION

1 Replace a sealing ring on the vacuum pump.
2 Insert the vacuum pump with a lead into a camshaft groove.
3 As a carving of bolts-2-have to be condensed, the carving of new bolts has a covering. After each otvorachivaniye it is necessary or to replace or clear and cover a bolt with usual sealant, for example, of "Drei Bond 1209" or "Loctite Ultra Black". Tighten bolts-2-and-3 moment of 20 N • m.
4 Establish a radiator of system of recirculation, address the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
