2 Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. The battery is in a luggage compartment behind a cover on the right side. At the BMW 316i, 318i cars the battery settles down in a motive compartment.

3 Remove the air filter of ventilation of salon, address the Section Replacement of an Element of the Filter of Air of Salon.
4 Remove a box of the air filter, address the Section Removal and installation of a box of an air inlet.
5 Remove a locking wall of a heater, address the Section Removal and installation of the fan of a heater.
6 Remove both levers of a screen wiper, address appropriate section.
7 Uncover a front fairing, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a fairing.

9 Turn out a bolt-2 consoles of a screen wiper.

10 Turn off nuts of fastening of-3 axes of a screen wiper.

11 Take out screen wiper bars in a set through an opening in a locking wall of a heater.

12 Mark a felt-tip pen position of the lever - 4-in relation to the console. Turn off a nut-5-and.

13 Turn out three bolts of fastening-6 electric motors and remove the electric motor from the console.

15 Before installation of the electric motor bring it into a starting position. For this purpose attach the plug, quickly attach a negative cable (-) of a battery room
batteries also turn on the electric motor. Then stop the electric motor the switch of a screen wiper and let's it come to final situation. Disconnect the plug, disconnect a negative cable of the rechargeable battery.
16 Fix the electric motor on the cleaner console by the moment of 10 N • m.
17 Install the lever according to the marking applied on consoles. Fix a nut by the moment of 25 N • m.
18 Establish bars and fix 2 nuts by the moment of 12 N • m
19 Establish rubber support of the console of a cleaner on an axis and fix the console by the moment of 10 N • m.
20 Join the electric motor socket.
21 Establish a front fairing, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a fairing.
22 Install both levers of a cleaner, address appropriate section.
23 Establish a locking wall of a heater, address the Section Removal and installation of the fan of a heater.
24 Install a box of the air filter, address the Section Removal and installation of a box of an air inlet.
25 Install the air filter of ventilation of salon, address the Section Replacement of an Element of the Filter of Air of Salon.
26 Attach a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. Establish hours.
