 REMOVAL

1 Remove a back brake disk.

2 Disconnect by means of nippers a forward returnable spring, a spring with traces of corrosion or replace the weakened spring.

3 Squeeze a spring a face key on 5 mm a little, turn on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns) and remove a press spring from a brake shoe.

4 Similarly remove a spring from other brake shoe.

5 Separate both brake shoes above and remove down.

6 Check ease of the course of the lock, if necessary remove it. For this purpose pull an element-1-back, squeeze out a finger-2-and remove an element-3-from a cable.


 INSTALLATION

Surely replace brake shoes on both parties.
1 Slightly grease the sliding surfaces and a finger of the lock with Molykote-Paste-G lubricant.

2 Connect above the lock to a finger-2-with a brake drive cable.

3 Check the movement of the mechanism of adjustment of brake shoes-1-, slightly grease a carving with Molykote lubricant. Turn off a carving element back.

4 Install the mechanism of adjustment of brake shoes below between brake shoes. Connect a returnable spring-2-(a spring of smaller diameter) to brake shoes. 3 – top returnable spring.

5 Insert into place brake shoes. Above brake shoes have to enter grooves (arrows on an illustration) the lock.

6 Press two springs of compression by a face key on 5 mm and at the same time turn on a corner 90 °. In a closed position marking on a screw head costs, as shown in an illustration.

7 By means of nippers for a brake spring connect the top returnable spring.

8 Brake shoes (shooters on an illustration) have to adjoin to a brake bracket support.

9 Establish into place a brake disk and a back wheel.
10 Adjust the parking brake, address the Section Adjustment of the Parking Brake.

If brake shoes of the parking brake were replaced, them it is necessary to earn extra on the road with not heavy traffic of transport as follows. Moving with a speed of 40 km/h, carefully tighten the parking brake so that easy braking was felt. At preservation of speed of the movement tighten a brake on one tooth and pass so about 400 m. Release a brake and let's it be cooled. It is recommended to repeat this process once in three months irrespective of replacement of a brake, so at the same time the rust which can be formed on a frictional surface, and wear products is removed.
