Removal and installation of a bracket of a brake of back wheels

 REMOVAL

If the bracket of a brake and a support are disconnected only for removal of a brake disk, it is not necessary to disconnect a brake hose. Otherwise after installation it is necessary to delete air from the brake system. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket so that the hose was not twisted and it was not tense.

1 Mark paint the provision of back wheels concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of wheels at the car standing on the earth. Lift a back part of the car, put it on supports and remove back wheels.
2 Slightly press a pedal of a brake and you keep it in such situation. For this purpose it is possible to insert wooden whetstone between a seat and a pedal. For this purpose displace a seat back and then again forward. Thus, the possibility of an effluence of brake fluid is excluded from the tank after a detachment of hoses and hit in system of air.
3 Disconnect a brake hose in a junction with the pipeline. For this purpose turn off a cap nut from the connecting coupling, holding a hose for a hexagon. Otherwise it is impossible to disconnect a brake hose at a support.

At the same time a quantity of brake fluid can flow out. Collect the following liquid in the capacity intended only for this purpose.

4 Take out a wear sensor cable at the right support. At the same time pull for the plug, but not for a cable.
5 Turn off bolts of fastening of a guide of a brake to a rotary fist a cap key on 17 mm and remove together with a support and the established brake shoes from a rotary fist. 1 – caps of bolts of fastening of a support.


 INSTALLATION

6 Establish into place a brake bracket with a support and blocks and fix on a rotary fist.
7 Tighten bolts of fastening of a bracket the moment of 65 N • m.
8 Join the socket of the sensor of wear of brake shoes on the right side of the car.
9 If the brake hose was disconnected from a support, connect it at first to a support, and then to the brake pipeline.
10 Establish into place back wheels so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing lubricant a wheel disk seat on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of wheels. Replace rusty bolts with new. Fix wheels by bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.

Several times strongly press a brake pedal in a standing position so that to feel resistance. Thus, blocks hold the working position at a brake disk.

11 Check liquid level in the tank, if necessary add liquids to the mark MAX.

— Whether brake hoses are fixed?
— Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
— Whether unions for removal of air are tightened?
— Whether enough brake fluid is filled in?
— On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort of 200 - 300 N (20 – 30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions for tightness.

Brake fluid should not pour out or be thrown out with household waste at all. Local authorities inform drivers on places of its possible utilization.
